Dr. Jackai has served as chair of the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Design (NRED) since January 2009, and is an entomologist and professor. Jackai joined the faculty at N.C. A&T from Tuskegee University, where he was entomology professor following a long and distinguished career at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture in Nigeria. Jackai has published over 130 papers in peer-reviewed journals, books and book chapters and others including invited review papers, one in the Annual Review of Entomology.
